Over 10 years ago in May 2013, MrWoody started his first YouTube channel reviewing LEGO and all things brick. It wasn’t fancy, just a kid with an iPad and a love for building. What started as a hobby quickly became a creative outlet, and over time, the MrWoody Channel began to take shape.

Years later, after diving deeper into content creation, MrWoody found his rhythm on YouTube Shorts. Millions of views came in, and what was once just for fun started turning into something much bigger. The support from fans, creators, and fellow LEGO lovers pushed him to keep going.

Since then, a lot has changed. MrWoody has grown not just as a creator, but as a person. The journey helped him to start making things that bring joy, sharing creativity, and building a community that feels like home. A positive outlook and new community arose meant for everyone, everywhere.

That’s what TheWoodenBrick is all about. This site is an extension of everything MrWoody has built so far: a place for collectors, creators, and fans to come together. From custom merch and collector’s vaults to fan submissions and behind-the-scenes content, this is where everything connects.
